This is the story of a journey. The wonder of it. The horror of it. The incomparable moments of it. A blog about the nature of writing–and, I hope, a sharing of the soul of one whose life is consumed by it. I’m an author. I’ve spent my whole life writing. It’s the food I live for. And I’ve been too long away from the table. Thank you for visiting. I love that you’ve come to take the walk with me.

Hello Lynn, looks like a great blog, I can’t wait to read more of it. Good luck, and keep that pen moving.

The more time I spend on your blog, the more I addicting it becomes. I need to go back, again, and again. You are such a gifted writer. You should contact a friend Claudia Ricci Hirsch who has a blog called My Story Lives. I’m sure she would love to put an essay or short story on her blog along with your blog address to increase your readership. You voice is so clear and authentic, so you. A joy to read. All the best on your journey!

I left a message on ‘google+’ but it disappeared? so if you you get 2 comments that’s why.
Just reading the few things I did , you really caught my ear. It is refreshing to to read and experience writing such as yours. So many blogs, like mine point out the vermin, lies and other garbage that the news media seems to miss all the time. It is a nice change of thinking. I am a ‘baby’ writer. This is my first real attempt to further my writing skills, you are inspirational, so I will be following you to see what’s next. Good luck and keep them fingers pecking. CB

What a unique voice you have! It speaks to all creative artists, I think-the process isn’t so different since all good work arises from discovering, and rediscovering daily, the authentic voice. Thank you for sharing yours here.

Zen, Thank you so so much for that! I really do appreciate it. My not participating in “paying it forward” might have you believing that I don’t appreciate the honor or you or your wonderful, seeking space, but I do….
